I’m so excited to see a new and refreshing trend. The trend to “book” social experiences.

People are slowly catching onto the advantages of owning a book that documents their experiences, or a chapter in their lives. This certainly doesn’t mean that digital is dying, but it rather means that people recognise the value of print in the noisy digital world we live in.

People are collecting letters and photographs and binding them in attractive case bound books.  Case binding is used for hardcover—or casebound—books and often includes some degree of hand-work.

They make very special and memorable gifts.

Photobooks are now becoming very personal publications that serve to honour and showcase memories in a way that digital falls short.
